About the Club
Who we are
The Urbandale Youth Sports Club is a non-profit organization created to develop a youth tackle football program in Urbandale, Iowa.
It was put together by local parents for a simple reason: kids in Urbandale deserved a program of their own, close to home, run by people who live in the same neighborhoods.
What we care about
- Kids first. Development over trophies, technique over intensity, and a sideline kids want to come back to.
- Volunteer-run. No paid staff. Coaches, board members, and team parents all do this on their own time.
- Money goes to the field. Helmets, pads, jerseys, and field time — that's where registration fees and sponsorships end up.
The board
The club is run by a volunteer board of parents from the community. Nobody here is paid — these are the people who order the equipment, book the fields, chase the paperwork, and show up early.
